250 year old furniture folk art from Uppland

In north Uppland, Sweden, where I live the farmers thrived around 1750-1850, beside the farming they did work for the ironproduction around the area.
The wealth resulted in big houses that they filled with painted furnitures, a luxury at the time.
During 1760-1780 the decorpainting of furnitures had it's peak in Uppland.
They have just been exhibited at Upplandsmuséet in Uppsala, enjoy some of the unknown masters:

The Rose Master 1766

The Flame Tulip Master 1789

The Flame Tulip Master 1790

The Alunda Master 1768
Hope You enjoyed, I did!

The poetry of the February water

My village Lövstabruks ironmaking, economy and existance have been built on the water.
It never stops fascinating me, and since it's a mild February after a lot of snow are all the waterways full of powerfull water.

Enjoy the Poetry of the February water, Per!

Hope You enjoyed, Per!
